Past Continous Tense

Past Continuous Tense digunakan untuk menjelaskan peristiwa yang terjadi atau berlangsung secara bersamaan di masa lampau. Past Continuous Tense digunakan untuk menjelaskan peristiwa yang terjadi atau berlangsung secara bersamaan di masa lampau.

Rumus: 

• Positive (+) : Subject + Be (Was/Were) + Verb (-ing) + Object.
• Negative (-) : Subject + Be (Was/Were) + Not + Verb (-ing) + Object
• Interrogative (?) : Be (Was/Were) + Subject + Verb (-ing) + Object + ?

Contoh:

• Positive (+) : My little brother was playing toy cars while my mother was taking a nap
• Negative (-) : I wasn’t waiting for the package when my brother came
  
• Interrogative (?) : Were the students listening to audio materials when the headmaster knocked on the door?
